Can I get a government job after this course?

1. Indian Air Force (IAF): If you posses AME DGCA certification then you are eligible to get a job with Indian air force for Aircraft Maintenance Engineer. For instance, the IAF hire AME-certified engineers to conduct routine and repair of fighter jets and other related airplanes. The Indian Air Force Technical Entry Scheme (TES) or Aeronautical Engineering (Mechanical)/ (Electrical) is the other way through which can join Indian Air force as an officer in the technical branch after completing B.Tech Aeronautical Engineering.

2. Defense Research and Development Organisation (DRDO): For research, design and construction of military aircraft, supplier of drones and missile systems, DRDO recruits aeronautical engineers. You can go for any job openings in aerospace research or in aero space project for plane or other aircrafts.

3. Civil Aviation Sector: It is possible to work for the Airports Authority of India (AAI), Indian Airlines and other government based airlines as an Aviation Engineer, Aircraft Maintenance Engineer or Flight Operations Engineer.

4. National Aerospace Laboratories (NAL): NAL is a part of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research which provides challenges to the aeronautical engineers in the designing as well as in the development of airplanes.
