You cannot practice law the minute you get your LLB in most countries. After you get the LLB, there are other steps that you have to take before you can legally practice law.
The Bar Examination
You have to pass the bar or the equivalent legal licensing examination in many places, including India, the United States, and the United Kingdom, before you are allowed to practice law. In this examination, they are evaluating your knowledge of legal principles, procedures, and ethics.
Internship or Training:
In some countries, like India, you have to undergo an internship or training period under the supervision of a qualified lawyer or law firm before you are eligible to appear for the bar exam.
Registration:
Once you pass the bar exam, you are required to register with the local or national Bar Council or Law Society in order to be officially licensed to practice law. This includes meeting any additional requirements such as providing proof of good character, completing continuing legal education, or obtaining professional liability insurance.
