A Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) course typically demands that the applicants have completed their 10+2 (higher secondary level) from a recognized board. The majority of universities take students from any stream—Science, Commerce, or Arts—if they fulfill the minimum percentage criteria, which is different for different institutions (typically between 45% and 60%). A few colleges and universities also impose age limits, which are usually between 17 and 25 years. Moreover, there are some institutions that hold entrance examinations like NPAT, IPU CET, or DU JAT, whereas there are others that hold personal interviews or group discussion as a part of the selection process.
Other than educational qualifications, most universities also seek applicants who have good communication skills, analytical minds, and leadership qualities because these are very much needed in a business-focused career. Merit-based direct admission is done by some universities, while some insist on holistic assessment including co-curricular activities and achievements. English language proficiency requirements such as IELTS or TOEFL may be necessary for international students as well.
