Fees of Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) vary significantly in India. They are quite low at government colleges while high at other institutions. Some Government institutes like colleges offering programs under their banner charge between ₹ 5,000 to ₹ 70,000 per year. The fees of IIT Madras is around ₹ 14,000 per year, Jamia Millia Islamia charges around ₹ 8,970 per year. Private colleges, on the other hand, charge much more with an annual charge of as high as ₹2,50,000. In New Delhi, where you are located, several institutions offer Diploma in CSE programs. For example, the Vishveshwarya Institute of Engineering & Technology in Gautam Buddha Nagar charges ₹16,500 per year, which amounts to ₹49,500 over three years. Desh Bhagat University, Fatehgarh Sahib also charges a tuition fee of ₹15,366. Hence the three years amount comes out to be ₹46,100. These are relatively cheap compared to the private institutions. Keep in mind that fees may change yearly and do not apply for the same fee during your lifetime. Students interested should, therefore, seek the institutions for current fee structures.
