He/she can successfully find place in almost any industry after having gained B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE). Areas of importance are telecommunication, consumer electronics and appliances, IT and data control, automation industry and manufacture of embedded systems. Areas of Employment for ECE graduates are Electronics Engineer, Telecom Engineer, Embedded systems developer, VLSI Design Engineer and Signal Processing Engineer.
In the public sector some of the position can be found in organizations such as BEL, BSNL, ISRO etc along with the defence, DRDO etc. Graduates can also sit for GATE, ESE/UPSC Engineering services or any public sector bank’s exam. Moreover, with the coming of IoT, AI and 5G, the need for ECE experts is well demanded opening up opportunity to specialize and expand.
