The B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) combined with AME DGCA (Aircraft Maintenance Engineering - Directorate General of Civil Aviation) syllabus covers advanced concepts from both computer science as well as aerospace engineering.
The CSE portion has the following curriculum, like programming languages: C, C++, Python; data structures; algorithms; computer networks; databases; operating systems; software engineering; and artificial intelligence. It provides a strong foundation in technology and problem-solving skills. The AME DGCA component stresses the maintenance, repair, and overhauling of aircraft systems.
Topics in this section include structures of aircraft; avionics; propulsion systems, electrical and electronic systems; aircraft safety regulations and standards. Upon completion of this course, which combines both flows, the participants will be better placed to build a professional understanding of software engineering and aircraft maintenance.
Students should be able to develop and support software systems as used in aviation operations, ensuring conformity with safety, regulatory, or standards requirements.
