BA LLB (Hons) is an integrated undergraduate degree course combining arts (BA) with law (LLB). The normal duration for pursuing the course is five years. The students are generally required to attain full-throated knowledge of legal principles and foundational knowledge in subject areas such as political science, sociology, history, and economics.
The term "Hons" implies that it's a course where advanced curriculums along with special subjects related to law, additional areas of study will be considered to offer broader and deeper vision as opposed to the general BA LLB course.
This curriculum would equip legal knowledge and the skills in analyzing research multidisciplinary perception toward the relation between law and society. Core subjects are: Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Corporate Law, International Law, Human Rights Law, etc.
As professionals graduated out of BA LLB (Hons), lawyers, judges, legal advisors and policy analysts will seek employment in public or private areas that are corporate-oriented. The foundation for further academic studies or preparatory exams through the judiciary/civil services test is also robust for their careers.
