What is the admission process for B.Tech Aeronautical Engineering + CPL?

The admission process of the B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering program combined with the Commercial Pilot License (CPL) typically goes through several stages. Firstly, candidates have to meet the eligibility criteria, which is usually passing the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects, along with a minimum aggregate score of usually around 50-60%. Some institutions also demand proficiency in English.

Admission of students generally depends upon entrance tests like JEE Main, state engineering entrance tests, or some university-level exams. After qualifying the entrance test, some students have to undergo counseling or other selection procedures followed by institutes for admitting students to their institution. In some institutes interviews or aptitude test are conducted to check whether the candidate is suitable for pilot training. Medical fitness is an important part of the CPL program, where candidates have to pass a medical examination according to DGCA norms. After these requirements are met, candidates can join the integrated program.
