What is the duration of the BPT course?

The Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) program extends for 4.5 years whereas students spend four years studying while completing six months of compulsory practical training. The program period lets students master human anatomy and biomechanics as well as physiology and therapeutic methods for treating multiple physical injuries. Students receive theoretical knowledge with practical training through the structured course curriculum which sends them to work in hospitals and rehabilitation centers for clinical practice. Students must complete a six-month internship which enables them to use their acquired knowledge in medical facilities under guidance from professionals.

The professional undergraduate degree in BPT teaches students to become competent physiotherapists who help people recover following surgery and visits and work with patients suffering from neurological conditions. Students can gain access to the course through either merit or entrance examination scores as specified by each educational institution. A completed BPT program allows graduates to work in hospitals and sports clinics as well as rehabilitation centers or establish private practices or continue their studies with MPT for specialization.
