The D.Voc in Production Technology is a three-year course offering designed to produce quality human capital with specialized skill and professionalism in the manufacturing and production industries. Semesters are split into 6 and each semester's work is oriented on different aspects of production technology, such as machining, welding, quality control and CAM. The course is organized in a way that would help integrate theory with practice, making the students proper for the job market when they complete their studies. Further, it is offered in the context of NSQF (National Skill Qualification Framework) so the student can come out of the program after one or two years of level 5 with a certificate or level 6 diploma as the case may be. This flexibility enables students to be placed in a position to join the market immediately or remain in school to study to the end to get the three-year program courses that provide better platforms in the job market. For this reason, the comprehensive plan of the course will produce graduates that are fit for the various positions within production and manufacturing industries.
