The time taken to complete Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) course normally varies with the level of study and category of program.
Undergraduate (B.Tech/B.E.): The normal years required to complete a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education is four years, but is made up of eight semesters. This is the time that students undertake their required curriculum, choice of units, laboratory study, and industrial training.
Postgraduate (M.Tech/M.S.): The programme takes 2 years, with 4 semesters for a Master’s degree in ECE. Students identify interest areas of VLSI, communication systems or embedded systems, they work on research projects.
Doctoral (Ph.D.): It generally requires a student between 3 to 6 years to complete a Ph.D. program in ECE. It requires extended research, thesis development and substantial contribution to the area of electronics and communication.
