The AME DGCA certification is implemented under the Integrated B.Tech Aeronautical Engineering + AME DGCA course, which usually takes 5 years. This program initially comprises thements and training of a B.Tech Aeronautical Engineering education and secondly the practical knowledge of the AME certification course all in one time frame.
The first 3 to 4 years of the course is dedicated to the B.Tech part of the course in which basics like aerodynamics, aircraft structures, propulsion and avionics are taught and flight mechanics etc.
