Human Anatomy and Physiology: Acquiring the knowledge regarding the composition and working of the human body. Pathology: Clinical and investigative practice of diseases, diagnosis or symptoms, and methods of cure.
First Aid and Emergency Care: Concepts we have learned include basic life support, which includes CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), wound management, fractures management and management of medical emergencies.
Patient Care: Assessing patients, supporting the assessment of their acute conditions, supporting basic life processes, supporting medical treatments.
Infection Control: Hygiene measures as well as adherence to rules which ascertain sterilization process.
Medical Laboratory Technology: Overview of tests in pathology, specimen procedures, specimen collection & processing, and analytical equipment.
Nursing Care: Fundamentals of nursing, hygiene, patient mobility, and management of delivery of prescribed medication, and patient comfort respectively.
Health and Safety Protocols: Clinical care, industry safety, and compliance with health codes, free from accidents/ incidents.
