What subjects are included in the B.Tech AME syllabus?

The B.Tech AME programme includes both Aerospace Engineering and Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) subjects, beginning with engineering science and topics related to practical upkeep of aircraft.

1. Core Aerospace Engineering Subjects: Mathematics for Engineers Physics for Engineers Aerodynamics: The phenomenon of fluid flow over airplanes and spaceships. Aircraft Structures: Two–dimensional and three–dimensional structures of aircraft frames. Propulsion Systems: Knowledge of the theory of working engines, turbines, and other propulsion devices. Flight Mechanics: Aircraft stability and control, and its performance. Materials Science: A review of the properties and the process of choosing materials used for parts in aerospace products. Avionics: Electronic application in aviation structures, aeroplane navigation, and communication systems.

2. Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) Subjects: Aircraft Maintenance Practices: Methods used in inspection and maintenance of aircraft and methods of repairing them. Aircraft Systems and Components: Elective proficiency in airplane engines, electronic equipment, and mechanical apparatus. Aircraft Safety and Regulations: Safety and other related requirement and measures according to DGCA norms. Airframe and Powerplant Maintenance: To reduce costs, therefore, focus should be done on aspects such as the airframe and the engine.
